Models of this, that or the other international relations problem appear frequently in many of the leading journals. International Relations is concerned with relations across boundaries of nation-states. It addresses international political economy, global governance, intercultural relations, national and ethnic identities, foreign policy analysis, development studies, environment, international security, diplomacy, terrorism, media, social movements and more. Diplomacy usually refers to international relations carried out through the intercession of professional diplomats with regard to a variety of issues and topics. [2] Diplomacy is the main instrument of foreign policy , which represents the broader goals and strategies that guide a state's interactions with the rest of the world. In international relations, public diplomacy or people's diplomacy, broadly speaking, is any of the various government-sponsored efforts aimed at communicating directly with foreign publics to establish a dialogue designed to inform and influence with the aim that this foreign public supports or tolerates a government's strategic objectives.
